Unable to find free online training

Hi team,

6 months ago, I tried your source tree. As a completely new person to smartphone games and version control, I need the tutorials to be as accurate as possible. I found that there were no recent / understandable tutorials within this website or on youtube. I wish to know who's responsible for making sure the tutorials are up-to-date. If you don't mind me saying, I'm not happy with what I see. I also went to this link and don't see any useful tutorials on sourcetree - https://training.atlassian.com/free-training-catalog. Bear in mind that I tried to play around with source tree and still have no idea what I'm doing.

I also noticed that the link https://confluence.atlassian.com/get-started-with-sourcetree/install-sourcetree-847359094.html was last updated in 2018. Why is it not up-to-date?

Can you help? Or am I forced to abandon this case and consider it hopeless?

You can also check out this Coursera course - https://www.coursera.org/learn/version-control-with-git - which walks you through how git works, including Sourcetree with plenty of videos and exercises.

Your manuals are also for macintosh users. I'm on windows. Please update your contents. I'm going through the manuals you gave because there aren't any others.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having difficulty in finding up-to-date Sourcetree resources. I don't think Sourcetree's UI has changed much (if at all) since 2018, but I've shared your feedback with our teams internally, so we can look into how up-to-date our guides are.

We do have two guides which you may find helpful. I'm not sure if you can see the reply i gave the community leader but your manual is on mac and I'm using windows. Others who were on the unity forum agreed that the user interface is very different. Please update your manuals. It saves lots of time.
