Sourcetree external diff bug

When using external diff (WinMerge) on an uncommitted single file the SourceTree diff window disappear until you click on another unstaged file and Ctrl+D doesn't work anymore.

I'm using SourceTree v2.1.2.5 on Windows; one of my teammates updated SourceTree to v2.1.7 but the problem persist.
