Yes, @Jorge Morales, the Mac version 2.2.2 now has the option to add the button back. Just right-click the toolbar and select 'Customize Toolbar'.

Mac version 2.2.2(51) doesn't have the button....
Windows version 1.8.2.0 has the button in...

This is forum for end users - Atlassian are here, but they don't always get involved (which is a shame, as all these +1's have no effect on their decision making process beyond giving them a nudge that there's an issue), and they do not make any formal announcements here either.
