new UI design is fine... no gitflow button not so fine... but hey, its not like i need it every day to start a new feature, but would be good to have it as optional : )

Yes, @Jorge Morales, the Mac version 2.2.2 now has the option to add the button back. Just right-click the toolbar and select 'Customize Toolbar'.

Mac version 2.2.2(51) doesn't have the button....
Windows version 1.8.2.0 has the button in...

I'm making my mac user colleagues jealous.

This was a brilliant feature and for the lengthier git flow commands it was a lifesaver to my keyboard, please bring it back!

+1 The Git-Flow button at the tool bar was very convenient, please bring it back.

+1 for the gitflow button and please make the icons easier to recognize/differentiate, they're way too grayish and looking all the same

Atlassian? Are you there? I think it would be the right time to answer…

This is forum for end users - Atlassian are here, but they don't always get involved (which is a shame, as all these +1's have no effect on their decision making process beyond giving them a nudge that there's an issue), and they do not make any formal announcements here either.

This has been raised formally, along with a load of other things that were messed up in the latest version over at https://jira.atlassian.com
