Long time and very happy Mac user of Sourcetree here! Latest update has a change that I find jarring.
Sourcetree's ease of use is impacted by updating to 4.1 when Commit, Pull, Push etc -- very important buttons -- have moved so far away.
In 4.0 all the stuff is near each other in the left part of the GUI, Commit button above branches, stashes, etc. Very handy!
But in 4.1, the Commit button et al are so very far away, way off to the right (and you can't even see them in this screen shot):
The "Customize Toolbar..." option, while helpful, doesn't seem to let me arrange the buttons as I'd like to get everything over to the left. Am I missing something?
As a temporary solution, I ended up customizing the toolbar and adding a bunch of spaces to push the icons back to the left. Works well enough when ST is a specific size. Not so well when resizing.
Also couldn't figure out how the "Flexible Space" item was supposed to work. Seem like it should be resizable or push icons apart to consume all available space. At the moment it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.
Now that the toolbar buttons are back on the left side they become really small and hard to read.
I personally didn't mind them on the right, it fit well into the Big Sur design language.

Click the branch, click the pull button, it is a high-frequency operation; please put the button back on the left
