SourceTree suddenly stopped working.

Following a reinstall there only a splash banner appeared for SourceTree, but application does not show up.

We seem to have a workaround by clearing files C:\Users\(USER)\AppData\Local\Atlassian ,
however, it removes the existing repositories. How can I prevent this from happening again in future installations and are there any better solutions which let me retain my cloned repositories?
