Re: Sourcetree logo change

This is not a new question, but an answer to those seeking one, to the still unanswered (but now-closed) question titled "Sourcetree logo change".

To change the Sourctree app icon from the imposed rainbow icon, there are two options:

  1. Download in-app update 3.2.1 (I have not tested this personally).
  2.  For Mac, from the Terminal execute: perl -i -p -e 's/Pridetree/Bridetree/;' /Applications/Sourcetree.app/Contents/Resources/Assets.car
[Answer posted by Marc as a comment to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE-6724]
I have tested personally that this works.
