Pull code using souretree error report

Zhou Peggy March 1, 2018

Hello,

When I use the sourcetree to pull code today, it always has an error.

Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to bitbucket.harman.com:443

But it is always OK before.

So, could you please provide some suggestions on this?

Thanks,

Tingting.

Hi Zhou! For troubleshooting purposes, can you try pulling the code from the command line? If you're getting the same error, then it means the error is not in Sourcetree but in the connection to Bitbucket Server.

It's possible that an old git version is causing this, you can check your current version by running

git --version

Let us know!

Hi, Ana,

Thanks for the response.

It seems my company bitbucket server has some problem.

When I log in the butbucket server, it always has following error.

server error.png

By the way, my sourceTree version is V1.9.13.7.

Thanks,

Tingting.

Hi! Seems like your issue is on the Bitbucket Server side then. You'll need to get that fixed before you can go ahead and pull from Sourcetree.

Are you the admin for this Bitbucket Server instance? If not, you'll need to contact them so they can solve this issue. If you are, you can try the steps explained in the article Server unreachable (the action that triggered the error in the article might be different, what the steps are also valid in your case).

Once Bitbucket is up and running again, and if you still have problems between Sourcetree and Bitbucket, then we can troubleshoot it.

Let us know if you have any questions or require any assistance with Bitbucket!

Cheers,

Ana
