Password Required For user on host github enterprise

Hello team,

I have been using Source Tree for years and from few days I am seeing a weird popup asking to enter the password for the GitHub when I try to clone the repo. Even after entering the password, it's asking the same again and again. 

I am using Mac, my source tree version is 3.0.1 and I am using System git 2.5.

It's really frustrating and can you guys please help me.  

Why can't you inform the users prior if this kind of issues persists?

We aren't aware of a specific issue that you described; tickets in our public tracker are the best way to find out if something is known and then to vote on them so we prioritize accordingly.  My first suggestion would be to try removing and re-adding the GHE account. If it's still problematic I'd recommend switching to Embedded Git to help narrow down particular sources of change. If so please file a ticket and we'll triage further there. Our apologies for the frustration.
