Credential Helper Selector - undo "always use" and constant pop-up

I have 2 issues with the Credential Helper Selector.
1. I mistakenly selected "always use this from now on" for <no helper> but it was a bad selection and now it's locking my account after several attempts to clone a repository. How do I undo this always use selection?
2. Once I undo that, how do I get it to stop popping up? I user the "manager-core" and log in to Atlassian, but it immediately pops up again and the verification for the repository keeps spinning and I can't clone.
Any help would be appreciated!
