Cannot download/find product license for Sourcetree.

Hello!

I am using version 1.6.22, I understand this is an outdated version but it is what our university has. I cannot seem to find a license for this product, when I open the application I get the error stating the trial has expired and I need to import a license or register.

I do not have any licenses listed when I go to https://my.atlassian.com/products/index and when I try to register through the app I get and error: "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel."

Is there another way to get a license?

Thanks

Hi Jake,

I understand that you are looking for an updated Sourcetree license.

That won't be possible for Atlassian to generate licenses for Sourcetree any longer.  We changed the way we license that product a while back (Mac v2.2 and Windows v1.8).  As such, Sourcetree is free to use now.  However you will need to update to a more recent version in order to continue to use it.  We also have a KB on the error I think you are seeing over in "Download your SourceTree license" link is broken on my.atlassian.com.

You can download an updated version of Sourcetree by going to our https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/ site and download it from there.

I hope this helps.

Andy
