Can't pull from repository (local)

I'm on a mac and have a local git repo I can pull and commit to. I installed SourceTree - which used to be an easy alternative to git terminal issue - and after I add the local repo it gives me a window with these options:

Pull from repository "custom" list with only custom in it.

Remove branch to pull "select a branch" with nothing in it.

Pull into local branch: master.

The Ok button is grayed out so there's not way to proceed.

This after having followed the install and setup procedures.
