If the commit box fdrom the bottom of the file status tab was able to be added to the Log / History tab then the file status tab would be not needed.
Also search could be incorporated into the history area and then there would only be one main tab that does everything.
Exactly this, I don't quite understand the need for the 3 separate tabs
