So I'm writing you from a family road trip this week with my parents and sister celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.  We are driving from Portland back to San Diego and stopping along many spots.

So far, Crater Lake has been my favorite.

What is your favorite road trip destination?

On the way to Vegas, I always like to stop at Peggy Sue's 50's Diner. It's not that the food is great, but the inside with all the memorabilia is pretty cool. It's roughly the half-way point from SD to Vegas, so it's a good time to get out and move around a bit.
