What is in your opinion, the best way to setup Jira to be able to assign work to squads instead of users.

Use team and skillset fields.

Team from the plans plugin?

Or a custom field?

How do you separate your squads from your stakeholders?

In my opinion, the values of custom fields are difficult to maintain + you need to be jira administrator.

So I prefer to use nfeed or insight to create custom fields and update/maintain them with for example .csv files or directly from a database or jira project.

With this setup, the maintenance of those 'squads' can be done by somebody else then the Jira administrator.

BUT, nfeed and Insights fields are not supported in Plans / portfolio.

In which way can you smoothly create a task that more than 1 team member should execute. e.g. during user acceptence tests or analysis on 1 issue solution.....mind you we do not use issue type Epic or Story (only three: Project Management , Task and sub-task).

A  'stroopwafel' for your shares
