Is there a way to allow a user to be able to rank issues in greenhopper without having the ability to set the FixVersion?

Matt Robbins September 7, 2012

We have Greenhopper 6.0.1 and are using the classic planning board. I want to be able to allow a user to rank and reprioritize an issue but not drag and drop an issue to a fixVersion.

For project I am looking at the checkbox is not checked for the cheduling Permission - Use the Schedule Issues rather than the Resolve Issues permission for scheduling issues within GreenHopper option.

The user also has the resolve permissions but does not have the Schedule permissions.

It isn't allowing me to drag and drop issues to schedule nor to Rank.

I would like to allow the user to Rank but not Schedule.

Is this possible to do and how would I configure the system to do this?

I am using Greenhopper 6.0.1

Hi Matt,

To set the fixVersion, a user must have "Resolve Issues" permission and to Rank issues the user must have "Schedule Issues" permission. The schedule issues permission allows the user to set the Due Date, not the fixVersion.

Hope it helps!

I have Admin rights need to take permissions for resolve issues and Schedule issues as well.
