How to read xml file from git hub into confluence

Hi..I am looking for having upto date file when I am on confluence page..it could be on click of some link etc ..I found there is add on available for that but I this you need to pay for it. Is there a way to do it without GIT add on ?

GitHub contain two places for, GitHub Repositories and Gist. If your repository or gist are public visible documents, you can embedded them in Confluence using HTML macro.

  • For File in GitHub Repository,
  • For GIST,
    • GitHub provide way to embedded it in HTML, it will hidded side bar.

You can copy HTML code provided here and paste it inside HTML macro, and you are good to go.
