I was wondering if there is a way to use the same macros (or addons, or plugins or how they are called) in Questions for Confluence as in Confluence itself.

Problem is - we had an interesting and huge question in an comment asked - I copied this question to Question 'space' assigned the right topics and linked to the according space. Now question was answered - but in the comments.... I would love to also have the answer in question. I thought about using Excerpt and Excerpt Include macro.... Excerpt would work in Comment but I couldn't find a way to get the macro work in Questions.

Do you have an idea?

Fabienne,

Thank you for contacting us! Although I can see how that would be very useful, it is not currently possible to embed Confluence Macros within the Confluence Questions add-on.

I've created a feature request for this below:

  • CONFSERVER-58301 Provide the ability to use macros within Confluence Questions

Please vote on the request to show your interest in it. You can watch it in order to be updated of any progress or changes.

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
