Hello folks,

I know I want/need the features in JIRA software but it seems Atlassian is pushing folks to JIRA Coree and then you can add Jira Software as an application, is this assumption correct?

 

Can't I just install Jira Software from the beginning instead of having to add Software as an add-on?

I can't use Atlassian Cloud (so don't suggest it)

If you install JIRA Software, Jira Core is already coming with it. You shouldn't worry about it.

Try to follow the steps on how to install the version you want for JIRA Software. Atlassian has very good documentation.
