Hello,
Today it is about Atlassian Certification. Do you have an interest in taking the exam? If yes share with us so if we have couple people we can start a group study.
All the best,
Hello,
I would like to take the ACP-100 exam on Feb 2019.
My next step is getting my ACP-200 Confluence Administrator certification. Interested in joining a study group.
I am interested in Jira Service Desk Admin, not particular time frame on acquiring the cert.
Good morning All,
I am glad to see people interested in this topic. I am more into the ACP-100 @Vishal & @Ollie Guan. We are lucky to have @Dana Jansen - Confluence Queen for people interested about ACP-200
I will create ExcelSheets for ACP-100 and ACP-200 @[deleted]so that we can see how many people and start the group studies may be early next year.
@Raynard Rhodeswe have Andrew(I can not remember his last name so that I can tag him), he works for ISOS. He passed JSD (may be he can help)
All the best,
Sounds great @Fadoua,
Looking forward to working with @Dana Jansen - Confluence Queen
@[deleted] I will share them with the other NOVA AUG Leaders so that we can decide on how to proceed with the study groups. Waiting for the new year as lot of people are on vacation.
Hello Fadoua. You may recognize my name, but I'm now signed in with a different user id. I am leaving nexVortex and starting my own consulting company. I have my own Confluence Cloud account now.
I would like to join a study group for the ACP-200 Confluence Administrator cert.
Can you please update the spreadsheet with my new user contact information? I assume it is showing up to you, but just in case it is not, here it is: dcarter1776@yahoo.com.
Thank you very much for kicking this off. I am really looking forward to it.
Hi @[deleted]
I am meeting with the other AUG Leaders this coming Thursday.
I will keep you all posted.
Best,
Fadoua
@[deleted] I didn't forget. We had to reschedule our meetup for tomorrow night as last Thursday Washington DC meetup was happening on the same day than ours. Some users asked us to postpone
I have signed up to take the ACP-100 Jira Administrator exam at the Atlassian Summit in April. Would love to get a group working together in prepping for it!
@Bill Tanner I am planning on taking it around that time as well but not in Summit.
I completed my ACP-100 about a month ago. Will be happy to lend any help with the preparation.. :)
Is it possible to take the Confluence Skills Badges before the Certification?
I would first like to take the ASB-210 Confluence Content Management and ASB-212 Using Confluence for Documentation & Knowledge Bases tests, but I am not sure if I can start there.
I do want to take ACP-200 Confluence Administrator.
I am interested in joining a study group(s).
Thank you.
Anyone can listen to the free Skill Builder webinars for Confluence Content Management and Using Confluence for Documentation & Knowledge Bases: https://training.atlassian.com/skill-builders
The Skills Badges themselves are available only after earning the related Certification.
Thanks Julia. That answers my question completely. I'm looking forward to joining the ACP-200 study group then.
Will add your name to the Excel Sheet @Diana Carter!
Thank you! I am switching companies after this week. Moving from a Confluence server site to a Confluence Cloud site. I am mentioning this because I may need to change my Atlassian ID. If so, I'll probably need to "re-join" this study group under a different user id. (I'm a little confused on that point. I may simply be able to change my email address.) Either way I am very much looking forward to joining a study group. There is a gentleman in my current office who is taking over the admin role here. He wants to join as well, but has not yet signed up. So you will likely have at least one more for the ACP-200.
While reviewing for the test you will have to study for both Server and Cloud versions. If your Atlassian ID is linked to your actual company then yes you will definitely need to change it. Wishing you all the best in your new job
Hi @Diana Carter,
You should be able to sign into id.atlassian.com and change the email address. Unless the Atlassian ID is a managed account.
I would suggest to your colleague to sign up to the community with a personal email instead of a work email address.
Hope this helps
That is a good suggestion Danny. I found that I could change the email address on my old account, but I was still showing as associated with my old company. I could see no way to change that association. So I opened a new user id.
I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Hi @Diana Carter,
I have had the same issue and was able to resolve it by contacting the Atlassian support team to port my Atlassian ID and all information and permissions associated with it to a completely new Atlassian ID of my choosing. Though it sounds as though you are sorted now so brilliant.
😀 glad I could help.
@Dana Jansen - Confluence Queen , @Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC
@Michelle Simkonis Who is interested to organize group studies? One for JIRA and one for Confluence.
I am very interested to join the JIRA one.
Fadoua, I'm interested in attending both.
@Todd_Hull Morning,
Let me reach out to all people interested about JIRA and see how we can start our group study and when?
Best,
Fadoua
People who are interested about JIRA, can you please share your emails so that we can see how to start the group study?
