joggler error: tickets not mapping to projects in Toggl

Michael Lyman January 17, 2014

I have an eval version of joggler that's configured with a Toggl account. When I try to use the Toggl link on the ticket, I get the following error:

There was a problem

No project found for TIX-1. Please create a toggl project that contains TIX-1 in the name.

Based the way I read this error, I'm supposed to create a new Toggl project for each ticket. In fact, when I change the project name to be TIX-1 the connection works.

Is there a way to use joggler without having to create a new project for every ticket?

Thanks

M

Hi,

I had the same issue. Commerge Support's answer:

Normally all issues are tracked using your configured project mapping.

There is however a special feature to track time for subtasks using the

parent issue as a separate Toggl project, see the section called

'Project Tracking Issue Types' on the Joggler configuration page. You

probably have chosen the issue type of TIX-1 there.

Yes, that was it. Each issue type was already checked by default when I installed and I figured they were more granular time tracking (e.g. track a task but not a bug). When I unchecked them all time tracking worked. Thanks!
