Why is there no rich text editor for describing the condition in the pre-condition details?

In Xray there is the Pre-Condition item type.

There you can describe the Pre-Condition Details.

But it is not possible to e. g. add a URL Link in the condition. There is in opposite to the Description no rich-text editor available.

How can you also use a rich text editor to describe the condition of the Pre-Condition Details? Thanks.

Hi Markus Farnung,

Indeed, the rich text editor is missing in the Pre-Condition details. I've created a bug which you may watch and vote so we can keep track of your interest: https://jira.xpand-addons.com/browse/XRAY-2047.

However, you can still use the JIRA wiki markup in this field. You can check the Atlassian's Text Formatting Notation Help page and learn how to use it.

It's not as simple as using the rich text editor but it's a workaround that you can use until we fix this issue.
