User ID Changed and it is reflected everywhere in JIRA except in the transitions history tab. Even for transitions post-name change shows old id.

Hi!. We found a solution by renaming the old users, then creating new users and  transferring the data between them and, finally, removing the old users. Hope it be useful!

We have the same issue and re-indexing doesn't help
