Installing IntelliJ IDEA

Thomas Hardin March 29, 2018

I am attempting to install IntelliJ IDEA and have successfully downloaded the application. While following the instructions, I was conducting the search for ScriptRunner, however; it is not available in the repository.

Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

The ScriptRunner IDEA Plugin is no longer in the IntelliJ IDEA repository for versions 2018.1 or later, as it is not compatible.

Although we are aware of the compatibility issues, I went ahead and created a new issue for you so you'll be notified when it's released. See https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2807

I believe the IntelliJ integration only works for versions earlier than 2018.1, so you won't find it in the repository if you're running 2018.1 or later. If you are really keen on using the IntelliJ integration, I'd recommend installing an earlier version of IntelliJ and downloading the ScriptRunner IDEA plugin here:

Maybe you have a proxy problem

Maybe you're using IDEA 2018 (latest supported version is 2017.3 AFAIK)
