Has anyone had issue with Table Grid Editor slowing Jira's overall performance down?

Has anyone had issues with Jira's performance slowing down drastically after they started creating tables in Table Grid Editor? 

I am trying to figure out if this is just a coincidence that this is happening around the same time one of our developers is creating a bunch of tables and entering in a lot of data or is it something altogether different.

We have had to re-set Jira twice this week because of how slow it was loading pages to the point of timing out. When we reset Jira it helped (we were not timing out) but still very slow to load pages.

Hi,

I'm with the team that develops the table grid editor.

We have seen this behaviour when 

a) The grid is initialised using the gd.query property

b) the context of the grid is global, so that for each new issue rows are added to the grid table.

This might result in a performance hit (especially if the initialisation takes some time)
