can you use aggregrateExpression on custom scripted fields that return a number?

I have a custom field, Age, the calculates the age of a JIRA. It is a SIL scripted field. 

 

Is it possible to use the aggregrateExpression function to calculate the average of the Age? I have tried issueFunction in aggregrateExpression("Average Age:", "Age.average()") but I keep getting an error saying it is not a number or date custom field.

AFAIK only those few native fields are supported. It doesn't even support groovy scripted fields yet.
