Some of our users in a specific project are reporting test steps disappearing when trying to execute a test cycle.
I've done a full JIRA re-index and also a Zephyr re-index for the particular project but the issue persists.
Any ideas?

Contacting smartbear is the best thing to do. Most likely they will require from you the support.zip file, but they'll guide you through.
