@Tebi Costamagna , hi. I see it's an old question but did you manage to find a solution to your issue? A custom solution will allow you to sync the data you want - like Zendesk External ID to a field in JIRA, as in your use case. Have you tried one? If not, you can check out ZigiOps. It's a no-code integration platform that allows the transfer of default fields (incident, task, bug, story, etc) + custom fields between the systems and syncs them in real-time. It's fully customizable and easy to use.

Without knowing how you implemented the integration there is not much we can say. Can you kindly provide more details?
