Why do the paths to the inserted plugins change from relative to absolute?

Hi everyone!

Hello everyone!

I found out that you can activate the custom plugins in the desktop version by starting draw with the --enable-plugins parameter in the command line.

My problem, which I found out in the last few days, was that the paths in the added plugin window were changed from relative to absolute. In principle, this does not change the functionality of the plugin, but there are problems when it is to be removed: even if it is deleted in the window, it remains in the draw folder.

Updated versions can only be added again after manual removal from this folder, which makes minor changes very cumbersome.

Does anyone know why the paths are changed and does anyone know a solution to the problem?

Many thanks for your help!

This an Atlassian specific community forum. The draw.io desktop doesn't relate to the Atlassian draw.io integration, you can find the appropriate project at https://github.com/jgraph/drawio-desktop.

Oh, sorry.
I found some other questions regarding draw.io, so I thought I try my luck here.
But you're right, sorry again...
