The Script file field is not appearing in all of our instances when are attempting to configure a Custom script condition.

Team ScriptRunner,

Greetings.

We are using Adaptavist ScriptRunner for JIRA Standard Edition plugin v3.1.4 in many JIRA 6.3.15 instances.  When we attempt to use the Custom script condition feature in one instance, the Script file field appears, but the field does not appear in another JIRA instance per the attached screen shots.  How can we remedy this bug?

Many thanks for your timely response!

Thanos,

The source/solution of this problem is documented below, and I apologize for any inconveniences we caused you.

"This was caused from adding the code packages to the runtime directory. During startup, it appears that the system was picking up these packages either first or overwriting the normal packages used by the plugin. Because of this, it was missing some of the needed packages related to formatting. Once these packages were removed, the problem was fixed."

Thanks again for your willingness to support us.

Hi Jeff,

I found this, still open, issue https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV-534, which may apply to your case as well.

Kind regards

Mark/Thanos,

Greetings.

The log feedback from the instance jira-admin follows:

I saw an error (Warning/INFO actually) earlier but have been unable to reproduce it. It looks like this. The part about 'UserCustomScriptEndpoint.getUserEndpoint' is interesting:

Hi Jeff,

I presume you got to the attached screens by the following:

  1. Go to Workflows then choose Edit
  2. Select the Conditions tab and then "Add Condition" link
  3. Choose "Script Condition"
  4. Choose "Custom Script Condition"

I also presume you are using ScriptRunner 3.1.4 on both your "CAT" and "Integration" instances?

Perhaps you could try using the latest compatible version of ScriptRunner together with an evaluation licence to see if the problem still exists?

Also, as Thanos asked. Could you please check if you see any error message in the log file of the "Integration" instance of JIRA?
