Hello,
I have a question regarding approval of TS in Jira Cloud. Imagine we have two projects, and each of them has its own project manager. We have a developer working 20 hours on first project, and 20 hours on second project. But from my point of view jira allows me to submit and then approve only the whole 40 hours, which does not work for our company. We need the option, that one PM approve 20 hours and the second one approve the other 20 hours. Is there any solution to this?
Thank vou very much!
Best,
Katerina,
Hi Katerina,
Currently there is no solution for this, we are not able to to split hours across multiple approvers when submitting a timesheet. Only one approver can be selected to approve the timesheet in it's entirety.
We are always looking to improve so we invite you to create a feature request for this in our new product feedback portal.
Here is a document with links to the portal and an explanation of it works
Best Regards,
Tempo Support
Dear Tempo Team! Is it still the case that its not possible that more than one approver can be selected to approve the timesheets in Tempo Cloud? For example, we have three projects with different project leads and to all of the is the same employee staffed to. The employee is recording the time, approval depends on the project/project lead.
Its quite a common request I think, I only found this article from 2020. In the meantime, any updates on that functionality please?
Thanks
Raphael

Welcome to the community @Raphael Winter !
Thank you for expressing your interest in this feature.
In fact, we are implementing this now in our Timesheets companion product, Cost Tracker.
We are implementing the feature, Project Time Approvals, in Cost Tracker because that product is a project-focused application that utilizes underlying Timesheets data and lays emphasis on project managers - enabling them to define and manage the budget, scope, KPI’s of a project. This new feature allows the approval of hours as needed by project managers; hence why we made it available in Cost Tracker.
