SSO for Atlassian Data Center Confluence 8.5 compatability

Hello

I'm currently running SSO 4.2.28 on Confluence 8.5.4.

This was previously marked as compatible but it seems to have been quietly marked incompatible. Now the latest version shown to be compatible with Confluence 8.5 is SSO 4.2.27.

Is there some compatability issue that has been identified? Should I downgrade the app? Is downgrade straightforward?
