Dear Community & Support,

self created learning content as SCORM packages are working fine when uploaded locally in Training for Jira cloud. Ever increasing offers from the third party content providers are not providing their content as locally installable SCORM packages but instead offering their content as content streaming.

Will Training for Jira support SCORM content streaming anytime soon?

Cheers,

Jori

Great question! I agree that as third-party content providers increasingly offer content through streaming rather than as locally installable SCORM packages, it can be challenging to integrate that directly into Training for Jira Cloud. Currently, Training for Jira supports SCORM content when uploaded locally, but streaming SCORM content is not natively supported.

Given the growing demand for content streaming, it might be worth reaching out to Atlassian support or checking their product roadmap for updates. They may be planning improvements or offering workarounds to support streaming content from providers like Redbox TV in the future.

In the meantime, exploring third-party apps or integrations could provide a potential solution to incorporate streaming content while still using Jira for training.
