Hello André
At this time you can restrict access to the Worklogs page by groups or users, so that only certain people are able to access the page. You can't however at this time restrict users to see only their Worklogs. It is a feature we plan on adding in the upcoming future however.
Thanks,
Paweł
Thanks for your quick reply Pawel,
really looking forward for this feature, because Worklogs is pretty slim, handy and easy to understand. No huge effort for initial training. But concerning privacy it is necessary for us to keep the worklogs for their respective owners only.

Hi André,
Yes, it is possible. A user that is adding the time to the ticket can restrict who can see his worklog. This is the only way on Jira to keep the worklogs for their respective owners only. All you need to do is create a project role like "Administrators" and user will restrict that only users that have this role can see his worklog. After that, Worklogs - Time Reports for Jira will not show time sheets of their colleagues to the users.

Paweł

Hi Pawel,
thanks a lot for this idea. Haven't thought about this yet. Great!
Just there's the thing, that users have to take care of this switch. For us the easiest way would be, that there is a restriction at the add on in place limiting the statistics (worklogs) to it's user except for certain administrative people.
Some other add on's have such an permission management in place but are by far more complicated.

I agree that permission management in place is important. The feature is already in our backlog at Soldevelo. We will let you know when this is released.

I also sorely miss this feature after using it in other gadgets for years. For us it is a more an matter of user-friendliness than permissions.
In other words, all I am looking for is the ability to filter by currentUser() in your existing "user and group" field.

Feature to restrict users to see only their Worklogs was released! You can enable it by accessing Worklogs Permissions page in Jira settings under Apps -> Manage apps -> Worklogs - Time Reports for Jira -> Configure. The setting is called Who can see others' worklogs. Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Paweł
