Hi,

It looks like JIRA removes some special characters (header) when a Java object is serialized over the http response stream whereas just the same sources work as expected on Tomcat. Please, see the picture below.

Any idea?

I speak about the write and read methods of the Java ObjectInputStream and ObjectOutputStream classes. The only one difference is that it does not work when the JIRA Plugin Framework is in the middle, so it looks like JIRA manipulates the plugins' output. Right?
