Question about "Notifications for Jira"

We are currently looking for ways to send SMS from JIRA (version 8.13.13 - server license), because we want to send SMS under certain criterias and we found the app "Notifications for Jira (by Boll.IT BV)" (notifications for jira)

Now i have a question to this app.
Is it possible to used this app only in connection with an Twilio account, or is it able to use this app with another REST API interface?

regards

Josef

Hi @Josef Sigl

Based on documentation app use only Twillo.

If you want only use rest api to connect to other sms service you need to use other app. I recommend automation for jira or script runner

Seba

hi @Josef Sigl

Hope all is well!

There is also an app called OmniChat for JSM which is powered by Infobip one of the most prominent API services (omnichannel) providers in the world.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1223887/omnichat-for-jira-service-management?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

You can integrate SMS or WhatsApp into JSM.  The provider also offers a live and free demonstration of the product which can be booked via their website

https://omnichat.cloud/en/home/

Cheers,

Malina

Hi Marlina,

thx for your answere, but we don't use Cloud license.

Currently we're using a server license.
