Is there a Salesforce Jira integrator/connector available that enables the permission to control the visibility of Jira projects within Salesforce and allows manual sharing of Jira projects through product administration?

Hi Nikhil!

Hajar here from the support team. Our Connector for Salesforce & Jira app do feature the ability to limit projects from Salesforce!

You may control and filter of which Jira projects to be integrated using the Connector on the configuration page in Salesforce. The limitation will not allow users from Salesforce to view the Jira project in Salesforce unless it is manually set to be allowed. Do find the following documentation for your review:

Do let us know if this answers your use-case and if you are interested, we may provide a demo as well. You may find us here.

Hope this information has been useful and do let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Hajar

Hi @Nikhil Dhadwal

Yes, there is a Salesforce Jira integration available that allows you to control the visibility of Jira projects within Salesforce and enables manual sharing of Jira projects through product administration. Sinergify is a popular integration tool that offers these capabilities.

It is designed to seamlessly integrate Salesforce and Jira, providing a two-way synchronization of data between the two platforms. And also allows you to establish a strong connection and sync relevant information, such as accounts, contacts, issues, projects, comments, and more.

In terms of controlling the visibility of Jira projects within Salesforce, the integration offers flexible mapping and filtering options. Access can be controlled via ‘Groups’, ‘Roles’, and ‘Roles and Subordinates' as well.

For step-by-step instructions on configuring sharing settings in Sinergify for Salesforce Lightning, you can visit the official Sinergify documentation at https://docs.sinergify.com/3.0/Lightning/Configuration/Add-Sharing-Settings.htm.

This resource provides detailed guidance on how to set up sharing settings to control the visibility and access of Jira projects within Salesforce.

@Nikhil Dhadwal hello and welcome to the community. If you're open to the idea of using a 3rd party solution for your use case, check out the ZigiOps connector. It's a 100 % no-code tool that integrated Jira & Salesforce, syncs their data and keeps them up to date. Although it automates the data transfer, ZigiOps can be customized in a way to give you manual control over preferred actions. Feel free to give it try via ZigiOps trial version or drop us a line to discuss it further.

Regards,

Diana (ZigiOps team)
