I have about 200-250 or so checklist options divided up into 4 or 5 categories that I want to create custom "Checklist for Jira" fields, but it seems the only way I can add the options is by cut-n-pasting a single line-at-a-time option in the custom field creation process.
Are there ANY other ways??
I'd gladly edit a Jira XML custom field configuration file, or write a Jira CLI script, or even a groovy script.
Hi Richard,
Sorry for the late reply. We don't get notifications anymore.
Unfortunately, this is how options are implemented in JIRA. I have not used it but I know there's a free add-on to deal with options via a REST API ... not sure it's applicable.

Otherwise, maybe a groovy script where you add options via the OptionManager API.

G’day everyone! Super exciting news coming from the Marketplace. We have now fully rolled out the ability for end-users to submit app requests to admins directly from within the product! No longer ...
