Hi, here is our case, I have a number of occurrences in my glossary that are not properly detected by the highlight engine (e.g. "data space initiative or "data space member"). My feeling is that a shorter term we have namely "data space" prevents those longer occurrences from being detected.
I did the test to create a few occurrences using the plural ("data spaces") that has no definition in the glossary as such. These occurrences like "data spaces ice cream" were properly detected.
Is a shorter term preventing a longer one from being detected or am I simply doing something wrong?
I have to add that in our Smart Terms config in Confluence neither "First term only" nor "Highlight substrings" are active options.
Hi,
This is Hassen from the support team at Creativas, the Smart Terms marketplace vendor. Apologies for the delayed answer.
The longer term is supposed to be highlighted. If you're using the Smart Terms browser extension, please make sure that you have the latest version.
The related vocabulary and related terms features might be useful in this case.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the support team. You can also book a demo for an overview of Smart Terms from here.

Hi, I would like to support this question. we have a similar issue where for instances, both "data" and "data space" are terms with a definition but in the content created, when "data space" is written, the definition is found for "data" only
Please see the printscreen below where we circled some occurrence of this.
