Hi,
I'm trying to configure local installed ManageEngine Service Desk to send tickets to JIRA. I've followed all the steps but can't get the two to connect. I'm not sure about the Server Name and Server Port of JIRA, can someone please help?
I know this is an old issue but I'll add to it in case anyone else has problems too.
The current documentation doesn't specify that SD+ works with JIRA cloud, but it does in fact work. The "server name" to use is the base URL you use to connect to your JIRA, ie: funktastic.atlassian.com and the port is 443. I made a user in Jira to have these tickets made as (all tickets made this way will have the reporter be this user, not the requester from SD+), go into the users and go into security and make an API token, use the API token and email address as your login.
Thank you for sending this through, I assumed it couldn't work. I will give this a go!

Doesn't seem to be working… or at least I'm having problems.

Do that, and nothing shows up in Requests. I'm at a loss. Any thoughts? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi Abdul,
I have to admit, I know absolutely nothing about manageengine. However from reviewing the link you cited, it appears to explain how you can integrate their product with Jira Server.
However it sounds like you're using Jira Cloud. In which case, Jira Cloud does not have the ability to allow you to configure these settings. Furthermore, the examples they document there appear to be very old versions of Jira. I'm not even sure that Jira Server current versions have the steps they are suggesting to follow. It would be nice if their integration guide indicated a date when it was created or last update, or what version of Jira these steps were last tested for.
Sorry I can't be more help here. I would recommend reaching out to ManageEngine for more help with this specific topic.
Regards,
Andy
