Jira Automation on Epic creation is not available

My use case: As soon as an epic is created, an story with a standard pre-defined text should be created, attached to the epic. And Epic / story should appear in the board automatically. I dont see any Jira automation based on the epic creation. Please help.

Hi @PreethamK ,

You should be able to create an Automation For Jira rule for Issue Created trigger.

Then put in a Condition for Issue Condition and select Epic for the Issue Type field. 

Then you can build the rest as you like.
