JIRA Scheduled notification and creation of Jira ticket

We need to have a reminder to provide a quarterly system maintenance to our customers. Is it possible to automatically create a Jira ticket 7 days before the scheduled maintenance.

I uninstalled the Automation for Jira and enabled the Server Lite.

Yes it is possible if you are sure about the dates then you can really achieve this.

If you are on Jira server then you can try with Automation for Jira lite Plugin and configure Automation rule and schedule event to create tickets.

Installed both Automation (see attached) but the option on Automation on my Project settings is still not appearing.

it won't but you can navigate to this plugin and from their you need to create new automation rule.
