Is there a way to transition content to another state based on last modified date?

We have a couple of Confluence spaces that have a lot of content that is old. We want to set up a workflow whereby we can review pages that are older than 4 years from today.

My thought was to have all pages come into a Content Review Workflow. Then add a rule to transition all pages older than 4 years from today to the "For Review" state. Anything within the past 4 years would transition to the "Active" state.

However, I am not sure how to parse the pages based on "4 years ago from today".

Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this if it is possible?

Hello @Gilberto Cortes

The options available to you depend on if you are using Comala Document Management Cloud or Server / Data Center.

You are using cloud if your URL looks like: https://<your instance>.atlassian.net/wiki/home

In any case, you will get a more timely response to your query if you reach out to our friendly Customer Success team at https://support.comalatech.com

Kind regards

James

How did you get on with this @Gilberto Cortes? Were you able to find a solution in Comala?

Thanks

Hi Gilberto,

you may take a look at Breeze in the Atlassian Marketplace:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227647/breeze-content-archiving-made-simple-for-confluence-cloud?tab=overview&hosting=cloud.

It provides the exact features you are looking for (plus more) and allows you to identify outdated content and establish review and archiving workflows.

Feel free to schedule an appointment with me for a demo (I am the CEO of B1NARY - we are the developers of Breeze). You will find the demo link in the marketplace listing.

All the best,

Adrian
