Hi, I would like to know whether its possible to add test cases automatically from a Test plan into a linked Test execution plan? Currently I have created/linked a Test execution plan under the Test plan and whenever a new test case is added into the Test plan its doesn't get added/reflected under the Test execution plan automatically?. Am I missing something here to do this?. Can you please help me to fix this?. TIA!
Hi @Sankar
Because Test Plan has context, i.e. the Status shown is based only on the Test Executions associated, Xray does not automatically add the Test Executions. Since users may want to have only Test Executions inside a Test Plan.
You could use the feature from a different angle, you add the Test case first into the Test Plan, and create the Test Execution after from inside the Test Plan.
By doing this it will automatically add the Test Executions into the Test Plan.
Here are some examples of usage:
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Thanks @Rogério Paiva - Xray Xporter , for your valuable response. I would like to know one more thing, even after creating Test execution plan from the Test plan (after adding all the required test cases) If we add one or more test cases into the Test plan will the newly added Test cases be listed under the Test Execution plan also since the Test Execution plan was created from Test Plan? TIA!
