Hello,
I found this script in the Adaptavist Library that creates a linked issue. https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/add-or-update-the-issue-link-for-an-issue-in-jira
Is it possible to use a script to update the linked issue type? For an example TEST-1 "contains" TEST-2. We have a situation where we'd like to change "contains" to something else.
From what I found, there isn't a way in Jira Server to update these linkages. It looks like I have to delete and re-link them with the right linkage type instead. Wondering if there's a script that can handle this instead.
Hi @JH
You are right. You cannot edit link type. You can only create new one and delete old.
Regards,
Seba
