How to search for 'linked' children

I have successfully created a multi link field and selected say 5 items. Each of those selected 'children' has the read-only linked field properly populated using the 'RLINK' query.
How do I use that linked field as part of a JQL query in issue navigator? I want to find all issues which have been selected in the multi select and query their stauts.

Hi William, the such functionality there is in plugin "AM Utils".
