How to change status of tasks/stories in big picture directly?

Hi,

I would like to change status from, let say, "to do" to "in progress" directly in the big picture "mode". I.e. not clicking on the task bar and then move to the actual Story or task or whatever, since that means I need to go to an other windown and then go back to the big picture chart.

Is there anyway I can update the status in the chart directly for an Individual task?

Hi @emelie.safrani

Yes, you can trigger issue status change (as well as other task-based operations) directly from the Gantt module by highlighting a given task and pressing dot (.) on your keyboard. See my image as a reference.

The status change will be immediately reflected on the Gantt chart.

Strange, I know this worked in my other Jira environment, but now it doesnt....
