How I span the contents across the whole screen?

J March 27, 2013

Hi,

Is there a way I can make the contents span for wider screens.

At the moment, there are narrow columns on each side and these do not auto resize when viewing on wider screens.

Thanks.

Hi Jennifer,

There are three options:

1) Under the user's name in the toolbar, click the "Turn Full Width On" menu item. Unless the page designer set a fixed width, the page will fill the browser. This will stay on until the user toggles it off.

2) On a single page, you can expand the main column to fill the browser (and hide the columns) by clicking the "Toggle Fill Width" toolbar icon (the arrows). It will revert to normal view on page reload (this is intended to make it easier to view large images, charts, etc.)

3) To change the page width for all users, you can resize the page canvas, either by dragging the edge of the canvas, or using the "Page Designer" option in the toolbar's Configuration (gear) menu. Since most pages are controlled by the Zen Master Page layout, you'll want to do that on the master page.

Hope that helps!
