I'm looking to hide ProForma Form or restrict a user or a group or role viewing Form. For example, if there is a form submitted within an issue, I don't want a specific user to view that form that was created via Proforma Form. I granted the user read-only access to that project but the user can still be able to view the ProForm form.
Is there a way to restrict a specific user or a group or role to viewing form or hide the form from the screen?
Thank you for your help.
Hi @Shah Baloch 👋
Can you share a bit more info? Are you using Jira Service Management, Jira Software, or Jira Work Management?
Hi @Peter Preston we are using Jira Software. We are looking to hide Form from some of the users. We have a purchase project and we add cost and other sensitive information in the form. We are looking to not show information from the form to some users or groups or roles. The user should be able to view the issue but not the Proforma Form. Thanks

Thank you @Shah Baloch. That's helpful info.
Any user who has access to view the issue will be able to see the forms. We don't yet have granular user permissions settings for forms.
The next paragraph is not a sales pitch -- just an explanation of form states.
Jira Service Management projects allow you to set forms as Internal or External. If your purchase project were run through Jira Service Management you could set some forms as internal so only designated agents could see sensitive information.
Users are able to see the issue on the portal. You can choose to show as many or as few forms as you'd like on the portal.
For Jira Software and Jira Work Management, there isn't the same Internal/External setting.

Thank you @Peter Preston for your response. Unfortunately, we don't have a plan to go with JSM near future, however, your information is very helpful if we switch to JSM in the future. Thank you for your help.
