Tried doing it. Went through configuring application links and could not link repositories in the manage DVCS repositories page. This is what I get.
Error!
The repository url [<<URL>>] is incorrect or the repository is not responding.
One more thing - The internal enterprise URL is not getting accepted in the application links page.
It always says the link is offline.
