Hi,
I am using JIRA data center version and I also have Script runner add-on.
I want to write a script in which, if the issues transition to final status (example- Done status) then the issue/ticket should export the content on PDF format and attached to a same JIRA issue/ticket.
How can I achieved this?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Siddheshwar
You can easily achieve this without scripting using Better PDF Automation and Better PDF Exporter together!
One of the automation actions Better PDF Automation adds to Automation for Jira is "Attach PDF". Read more about how it works it in the Documentation >>
Watch this tutorial video to get a better idea and don't forget to follow the installation instructions!
I am searching for a way to store the PDF created by Better PDF from an issue into the issues attachments.
I have read about Better PDF Automation (above).
Unfortunately, I cannot find this Jira App in the App store.
Please, help me with this!
Thank you

@Gerhard Galantha
I assume you are using Jira Cloud (this question is originally about the DC version.)
Unfortunately, Better PDF Automation is not currently available for Cloud. That's because Atlassian currently doesn't allow integrations for Automation for Jira Cloud.
So it's not up to us when we can deliver this automation app for Cloud.
Please vote for the feature request here to tell Atlassian it's important for you: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-10966
And in our system as well: https://midori.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/229993888-Better-PDF-Automation-for-Jira-Cloud

In your description, you mentioned:-

What is the content you want to export? Is it the comments? Kindly clarify.
Thank you and Kind Regards,
Ram

Hi,

comments/history are optional
Thanks,
